Streaming DSD files ...
In my system the lowest sampling rate in the conversion from a DSD file to analog output is 96 kHz. I do not have DSD DAC's and thus cannot confirm the claims that are made in the above talks. Also, in the production of a SACD the microphone signals are archived as DSD files. But the mixing of microphone channels is usually done after converting the DSD files to 96 kHz PCM, because DSD mixing desks are rare. The resulting PCM files are then converted back to DSD and stored on the SACD that is being sold For sure read: Weiss on DSD ... Gets it right.
